The advanced paper feed mechanism handles everything from the thinnest rice paper to plastic cards. For thick documents that cannot pass the rotary drum path an alternative straight path is integrated. Special scanning modes auto-adjust the feeding for fragile, folded or very long documents, and up to 200 metres long documents may be scanned.
Ultrasonic multi-feed detection with three sensors and several ignore functions ensure that the front and back images originate from the same sheet scanned. The auto-adjustable feeder holds up to 700 sheets (80 g) and the variable tray control allows almost any batch size to be scanned faster than ever before. User installable pre- and/or post-scan imprinters are optional.
Ngenuity’s LED lamps need no warm up time and last the life time of the scanner. Combined with the SharpShooter™ Trilinear CCD cameras and the onboard Virtual ReScan Professional image enhancement functions Ngenuity delivers unprecedented image quality at rated speed.
