Example 1 - Scanning with ODBC Database Lookup

Using an applied barcode, the value of the barcode is "looked up" in the accounts system and corresponding data is brought back and used for indexing.

Example 2 - Scanning into a work flow

In the next example, we are using the same scanning technique as above but are now using a workflow. Invoices are scanned and the invoice with a value above £2000 is sent into a process for approval. 

Example 3 - Scanning with zonal OCR

To speed up the scanning and indexing of every day documents like purchase ledger or delivery notes, zonal OCR is used. Zones on the page are read as a page is passed through the scanner or imported from a directory.
